Jocelan Hooker is a Vancouver/Vancouver Island based Film and Television Makeup Artist whose passion for makeup began through creating bold, imaginative looks and sharing them on social media. Inspired to turn that passion into a career, she trained at Blanche Macdonald Centre, graduating with honours.

Since then, Jocelan has worked on a variety of productions, using makeup to enhance performances and bring characters to life. She also brings four years of experience as a Sales Associate at Coast Fiber-Tek, where she developed extensive product knowledge in professional makeup, special effects, and industry-standard materials.

Jocelan is an ACFC West Permittee and an IATSE 891 Reserve Member. In addition to her work on set, she currently serves as a Prosthetics Teaching Assistant and Substitute Instructor at Blanche Macdonald Centre, supporting aspiring makeup artists while continuing to expand her own skills and experience.

In Fall 2026, Jocelan will begin pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, with the goal of combining her background in makeup, prosthetics, and education with healthcare focused applications in the future.
